Hailey Van Lith and Jalen Suggs shared an adorable moment during the 2025 WNBA Draft.

Van Lith, 23, was selected with the 11th overall pick by the Chicago Sky during the WNBA’s 2025 Draft ceremony on April 14, where the former TCU Horned Frogs star will reunite with Angel Reese, whom she played alongside at Louisiana State University (LSU) in the 2023-24 season.

After she was selected, the ESPN broadcast showed Van Lith hugging her parents before taking the stage to greet WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert to accept her Sky jersey.

But in an eagle-eyed video shared by Yahoo Sports on X after Van Lith’s selection, the WNBA rookie was spotted sharing a sweet kiss with her boyfriend Suggs, also 23.

The video showed Suggs clapping as he waited for Van Lith off to the side of the room by a camera while other draft picks were being announced. The couple, who have been rumored to be dating since 2021, embraced and shared a kiss in the video.

Despite keeping their relationship fairly lowkey amid rumors of a romance on social media, Van Lith acknowledged Suggs, who was drafted with the fifth overall pick in 2021 by the Orlando Magic, as her boyfriend while speaking to PEOPLE on the orange carpet at the WNBA’s 2025 Draft in New York City.

Van Lith specifically addressed the viral moment between Suggs and her father, Corey Van Lith, who also played basketball in college, during the March Madness tournament last month.

The TCU Horned Frogs guard said she was only a little embarrassed when she learned that her father and her boyfriend went viral for their celebration as the Horned Frogs defeated Notre Dame in the second round of the tournament.

Van Lith told PEOPLE she laughed and said she was “shaking her head” after seeing the viral clip, but admitted, “No I love it, it’s totally their personalities and I’m so glad that the world gets to see their joy and passion.”

Van Lith added that she “sometimes” gets “embarrassed daughter vibes” by her father, who played collegiate baseball and basketball at the University of Puget Sound, but ultimately said she’s going to “let him do him for sure.”
