The NBA announced Sunday its finalists for its 2024-25 regular-season awards and the Detroit Pistons were well represented.

Cade Cunningham is a finalist for Most Improved Player Award. Dyson Daniels of the Atlanta Hawks and Ivica Zubac of the Los Angeles Clippers also are finalists.

Malik Beasley is a finalist for Sixth Man of the Year, with Payton Pritchard of the Boston Celtics and Ty Jerome of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

And coach J.B. Bickerstaff is a finalist for the Coach of the Year Award with Cleveland’s Kenny Atkinson and Houston’s Ime Udoka.

Denver’s Nikola Jokic, Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo are the finalists for the Most Valuable Player Award.

The awards will be announced sometime after the first-round of the NBA playoffs.
