Just when NHL fans thought Alex Ovechkin didn’t have anymore career milestones to hit, he found another.
On Monday, it couldn’t have come at a better time for the Washington Capitals captain and his team. Ovechkin batted the puck out of the air in front of the crease for his first career playoff overtime goal. That won Game 1 for the Capitals in their first round series against the Montreal Canadiens, 3-2.
