Four positives from the Boston Celtics Game 1 win over the Orlando Magic

While the Boston Celtics starting slow against the Orlando Magic Magic in Game 1 of their 2025 Eastern Conference Playoffs first round series is nothing to be happy about, there were some things to point to as positive takeaways (if one even needs to do so in a 17-point blowout).

For one, starting Celtics point guard Derrick White led the scoring charge for the Celtics on a night when his fellow starters struggled with efficiency on offense. And after that rough first half start, veteran guard Jrue Holiday had a scoring outburst of his own that helped get Boston situated to come away with the victory.
