Tuesday night in MLB has finished, and runs were certainly hard to come by for almost every team.

Only two teams eclipsed double-digit runs, while 10 teams failed to hit more than three runs — including the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles, who were shut out.

With a night full of action, here are three stars from Tuesday.

Mitchell Parker, SP, Washington Nationals

Parker turned in the best outing of his professional career on Tuesday night. He went eight shutout innings while allowing just one hit, walking two and striking out four batters.

It is the first time in his young career that he pitched into the eighth inning, and his season ERA was lowered to 1.39 across five starts.
