Steve J.: As a Pistons fan, I’m happy for the New York Knicks, because in addition to being sick to death of Boston (who wouldn’t be), I’m thrilled to find out that the team we went toe to toe with where basically every game came down to the final minute, is actually pretty damn good.
Michael C.: Brunson is the gutsiest player I have ever seen. He’s a pleasure to watch and listen to. Team player supreme. Keep it going, Knicks.
Dave H.: Jalen Brunson has now cemented himself as the best player in the Eastern conference. He’s the only player in top five in both points and assists per game in the playoffs. Mikal Bridges has kicked things into a new gear, scoring in the clutch and making huge defensive plays to win Games 1 and 2. Towns and Robinson have owned the low post.
MJ R.: The best thing about that game is not that the Knicks won, it’s that they finally played as well as they are capable of playing. If you perform at your best and lose, well, so it goes if you’re against a better team. But despite the wins they’ve been pretty bad all series. It’s much better to see them execute on offense and defense, win or lose.
