The Milwaukee Bucks fell short in the 2025 playoffs, crashing out in the first round at the hands of the Indiana Pacers, who wrapped up the series 4-1.
The Bucks had finished fifth in the Eastern Conference during the regular season – their worst result since 2017-18. Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered massive numbers in the series, averaging 33 points, 15.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game against Indiana. But it wasn’t enough.
Just days ago, rumors surrounding a potential exit for Antetokounmpo shook the NBA. The Greek star admitted he’s open to finding a new team where he can seriously contend for championships.
Giannis names his all-time starting five
Asked to name the greatest players of all time, Antetokounmpo didn’t hesitate, and three of his picks are still playing. He went with Stephen Curry – the face of the Golden State Warriors – along with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and LeBron James.
Not a bad five to trot onto court, right?
- Stephen Curry
- Michael Jordan
- Kobe Bryant
- Kevin Durant
- LeBron James
