Connor McDavid has won pretty much everything an NHL player can without winning a Stanley Cup. He’s won the Hart Memorial Trophy for NHL MVP three-times, the Art Ross Trophy for the most points five times and last season achieved the rare feat of losing in the Stanley Cup Final but still be given the Conn Smythe Trophy for postseason MVP. For he and the Edmonton Oilers the second-straight season halfway to capturing the most elusive prize in hockey, this time with the Dallas Stars standing in between them and the Stanley Cup Finals.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The Oilers made it all the way to Game 7 against the Panthers in the Final in 2024. With McDavid and Co. running it back, they have plenty of star power to return.
