The Indiana Pacers left New York with two wins.

Will that momentum continue at Gainbridge Fieldhouse? With a 2-0 Eastern Conference Finals lead against the Knicks, Indiana will host Game 3.

The game will happen hours after the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500. Pacers and racers, as it’s referred to, has happened before, but Indiana has never won its playoff game on the same day as the 500.

7:00 left 2Q: OG Anunoby came out of the time and dunked. Myles Turner hit a 14-foot shot. That was followed by two free throws from Bennedict Mathurin. Landry Shamet nailed a 3-pointer to cut Indiana’s lead to 42-35.

9:12 left 2Q: After Karl-Anthony Towns scored on a layup, T.J. McConnell hit a pullup jumper. Towns responded with another layup. But Myles Turner made a shot right after. Pascal Siakam made a basket to put the Pacers on a 6-0 run.

End of 1Q: Jalen Brunson made a 3-pointer coming out of the timeout. T.J. McConnell tied it at 18-18 with two free throws. Obi Toppin went to the free-throw line and made both attempts. Brunson made two free throws to tie it at 20-20.

Mitchell Robinson threw down a dunk to take a 22-20 lead over the Pacers. Tony Bradley made a layup to tie it at 22-22. McConnell’s basket gave Indiana a 24-22 advantage.

Andrew Nembhard drilled a long 2. Josh Hart’s free throws tied it at 26-26. McConnell made a basket with 31.1 seconds left.

4:01 left 1Q: Myles Turner made a layup. That was followed by a Tyrese Haliburton basket. At 4:23, Turner drilled a 3-pointer. Knicks lead 15-13. Ben Sheppard hit a 3 at 4:04 to give the Pacers a 16-15 advantage.

7:01 left 1Q: Jalen Brunson scored first, but Pascal Siakam answered with a basket. Mitchell Robinson scored to make it 4-2 Knicks. Andrew Nembhard’s jumper tied it at 4-4. Knicks scored five straight from there, which included a 3-pointer from OG Anunoby.
