
Ride on Bernie Brewer’s slide at American Family Field in Milwaukee

Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Jackson Chourio was dropped in the order due to a recent hitting slump , but his stellar defensive play in a 5-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins on May 18 provided a lift that the struggling Brewers sorely needed.
With his team ahead 4-2 in the eighth inning, Chourio, was able to time his leap perfectly and rob Minnesota’s Royce Lewis of a game-tying home run.
Chourio was hitless in his last 18 at-bats and prior to the final game of the series he didn’t have the greatest week defensively either,
But all that changed when Chourio took the right angle and scaled the American Family Field wall to make an improbable catch that helped end the Twins’ 13-game winning streak.
