Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Reynaldo López underwent arthroscopic surgery in his right shoulder on Tuesday. Fortunately, there was no structural damage. He will be reevaluated in July and shut down from throwing until then.

31-year-old López appeared in just one game this season before sustaining the injury. In his lone start, he surrendered three runs on nine hits. Hopefully, this is just a minor setback for López.
