The Philadelphia Phillies continued their dominance over the lowly Colorado Rockies by slugging their way to a 9-5 win on Wednesday. Bryce Harper hit one of three Philadelphia home runs as the Phillies won their third straight over Colorado and their sixth straight win overall.
With the game tied 2-2 in the third, Trea Turner and Harper smashed back-to-back homers as part of a big four-run inning.
First, Turner, not exactly known for the long ball, hit his third home run of the season 424 feet to left field. Turner’s solo shot broke the tie and put the Phillies back on top 3-2.
