Portland Trail Blazers rookie center Donovan Clingan has made the 2024-25 NBA All-Rookie Second Team, the NBA announced Tuesday.

The rest of the All-Rookie Second Team included Miami Heat Center Kel’el Ware, Chicago Bulls forward Matas Buzelis, New Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi, and Washington Wizards guard Bub Carrington.

The NBA All-Rookie First Team featured San Antonio Spurs guard Stephon Castle, Atlanta Hawks forward Zaccharie Risacher, Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaylen Wells and center Zach Edey, and Washington Wizards forward-center Alex Sarr.

A voting panel of 100 media members selected five players for the First Team and five players for the Second Team. Players received two points for each First-Team vote and one point for each Second-Team vote. You can view the full voting results here.

Clingan received six First-Team votes and 61 Second-Team votes, gaining 73 total points on the ballot. Ware led the Second Team with 138 total points. Carrington rounded out the Second Team with 53 total points, finishing one spot below Clingan.

In 67 appearances, including 19 starts, Clingan averaged 6.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 1.1 assists, and 19.8 minutes per game. Among players with at least 1,000 minutes logged, Clingan led the NBA with 5.9 offensive rebounds per 36 minutes and ranked third with 3.0 blocks per 36 minutes.

The Blazers drafted Clingan out of the University of Connecticut with the No. 7 overall pick last summer.
