The Bucks are coming off a loss to the Bulls on Friday and are looking to bounce back Sunday vs. the Nets. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, Milwaukee is a 8.5-point favorite for this contest and the O/U is set at 228 points. Below, I break down my favorite Lillard player prop from this game.
Best Damian Lillard Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Damian Lillard O 6.5 assists (-130)
Lillard is coming off an eight-assist performance Friday vs. the Bulls and the guard is a strong bet to exceed this line 6.5 line Sunday vs. the Nets. Khris Middleton (ankles) remains out and with the wing sidelined to start this season, Lillard has led the Bucks a 34.1% assist rate.
Lillard is averaging 7.0 assists per game after his first two starts this season and this number should be much higher. The veteran ranks third in the league in potential assists at 18.5 per game and with Middleton off the floor the past two seasons, Lillard is averaging 9.8 assists per 100 possessions.
Lillard is clearly setting his teammates up for great looks and Milwaukee is in a great position to score a ton of points Sunday vs. the Nets. This season, Brooklyn ranks 20th in defensive efficiency and their opponents are shooting the ball at the best percentage in the league. On the DraftKings Sportsbook, the Bucks’ implied team total is set at a huge 118.5 points.
Lastly, Lillard tallied 12 assists when he last faced the Nets in February, which was also a contest that Middleton was inactive for.
