
The top-seeded Thunder will not know its first-round opponent in the NBA Playoffs until Friday, but Oklahoma City can at least start planning out a playoff schedule.
After leading the NBA with a 68-14 record, the Thunder will open the Western Conference playoffs at noon Sunday against the No. 8 seed — either the Grizzlies, Kings or Mavericks at Paycom Center, the Thunder announced early Tuesday.
The Grizzlies lost to the Warriors on Tuesday night in the play-in game for the No. 7 seed. Memphis will host the winner of Wednesday’s Kings-Mavericks game for the No. 8 seed Friday night.
