The 2024 NBA Draft was laminated as a group of prospects that was overlooked and casted as a crop of prospects that did not have star potential and some even went as far as to plead with teams to jump out of the draft entirely.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Miami Heat got together on Thursday night in a nail-biting game on National TV. In this contest, the 2024 NBA Draft class was on display as rookies played big minutes highlighted in the post as Kel’el Ware logged 36 minutes against Grizzlies Rookie big man Zach Edey’s 28.
The starting lineups featured four first year players as Pelle Larrson and Jaylen Wells joined the fun as well.
Ware had his night spoiled by the Heat’s 110-108 loss. It was a game in which the Indiana product posted 13 points, 15 rebounds and three rebounds while shooting 2-for-4 from 3 and 5-for-13 from the floor.
His counterpart Edey hauled in 13 rebounds en route to eight points on a perfect 3-for-3 shooting from the floor and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
