
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Voting is now open to help send your favorite Kansas City Royals to the MLB All-Star Game this July.
This year’s game will be played in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, July 15.
Voting will take place in two phases. According to the MLB, the first phase will include one nominated player at each position from every club. At the end of phase one, the top overall vote getter in the National League and American League will automatically earn a starting roster spot at their position.
In the remaining positions, the top two players for each infield position and top six players for outfield positions will move on to the second phase of voting.

Last year, the Royals had four All-Stars, with shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and pitchers Seth Lugo and Cole Ragans each making their first appearance while catcher Salvador Perez made his ninth All-Star appearance.
Phase 1 of voting began at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, and ends at 11 a.m. on June 26. Voters are limited to five ballot submissions per email address each day that voting is open on MLB.com.
The Royals said fans can sign up for daily voting reminders through the Royals Community texting platform by texting “ALL STAR 2025″ to 816-6-ROYALS.
