What…a…game.
The Indiana Pacers stole Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals from the New York Knicks 138-135 in overtime, just their latest act of NBA playoff highway robbery.
After a back-and-forth game for three quarters, the Knicks almost pulled away in the fourth quarter, but the Pacers do what they do best and did not go quietly, overcoming a 14-point deficit in the final three minutes of the game to force overtime.
The Knicks now need to win Game 2 or go back to Indianapolis down 0-2 in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals.
These two teams will be back at Madison Square Garden for Game 2 on Friday with everything on the line. Here’s everything you need to know in order to score one of the hottest tickets in New York City.
