The Lakers will go into Thursday’s matchup against the Warriors having defeated a pair of Western Conference contenders in the Houston Rockets (104-98) and the Memphis Grizzlies (134-127) in their past two contests, securing a two-game lead over the Warriors for both the Pacific Division and the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference playoff race. Even with superstar talent LeBron James (16 points) and Luka Doncic (20) combining for just 36 points in that win over Houston, LA rode lockdown defense and 12 total 3-pointers from reserves Gabe Vincent and Dorian Finney-Smith to a big win on Monday night. With that victory, the Lakers improved to 29-9 at Crypto.com Arena.

The Warriors are a new team since the addition of veteran Jimmy Butler at the NBA Trade Deadline, posting a 19-5 record in 24 games since the Feb. 7 trade. Golden State has won three games in a row as the team approaches the sixth and final game of its current road trip, most recently winning a 134-125 shootout with the Grizzlies behind Steph Curry’s monster 52-point night. The NBA’s most prolific all-time shooter connected on 12 of his 20 three-point attempts while nearly recording a triple-double with his 10 rebounds, eight assists and five steals as the Warriors leaped the Grizzlies in the West standings with that win.
The Lakers and Warriors are set for a 10 p.m. ET start on TNT. Live streams are available with offers from DirecTV Stream (free trial) and SlingTV (low intro rate). The game will also stream on Max.
