The Warriors made it somewhat interesting down the stretch, but the Rockets essentially blew them out in Game 5. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler all barely played in the second half, and Houston was able to force a Game 6 with a 131-116 win.
Golden State still holds a 3-2 lead in the series and will be playing at home in this close-out game, but their two stars need to shoot better from the field than they did in Game 5. Curry and Butler combined to go 6-22 from the field, which is not a winning formula.
The Rockets still did not get a big game from Jalen Green, who has massively underwhelmed aside from his Game 2 outburst when he finished with 38 points. If they can get another explosive game out of Green on Friday, they will have a great chance to extend the series. If not, they will have to rely on Fred VanVleet and Alperen Sengun to carry the load.
