The Tigers have quietly been one of the hottest teams over the past week in baseball. After taking three straight games from the American League Central rival Chicago White Sox, Detroit has beaten up the Yankees in the first two games of the series.
After a 6-2 win on Monday, the Tigers followed that up with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday, thanks to home runs from Spencer Torkelson, Zach McKinstry, Kerry Carpenter and Dillon Dingler. With five wins in a row, the Bengals are showing signs of the team that had a hot start to the 2024 season.
