The Warriors are a newer and better team since the arrival of Jimmy Butler via trade, but also thanks in huge part to Steph Curry performing at a playoff level. That includes 52 points in a 134-125 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and 37 in a 123-116 win over the LA Lakers on Thursday as Golden State wrapped a six-game road trip with four straight wins.
The Nuggets hold the No. 3 position in the Western Conference standings, but the pack runs deep from Nos. 3-8 with just 2.5 games of separation from the LA Clippers in eighth. The Warriors are 1.5-point favorites in a matchup Vegas oddsmakers expect to be a fight to the end.
