The Golden State Warriors play the first of two home games on Saturday night, as they resume their NBA Western Conference semifinal series with Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. #6 Minnesota Timberwolves (49-33) at #7 Golden State Warriors (48-34)

NBA Western Conference Playoffs 2nd round – Game 3

The Timberwolves commanded Game 2 from start to finish for a 117-93 victory that salvaged a split on their home floor. The Warriors played their first full game without Steph Curry, who exited Game 1 with a hamstring injury, and missed the presence of the NBA’s all-time leading 3-point shooter, hitting just 9 of 32 attempts from long range in the Game 2 loss.

Given Curry’s absence, the Timberwolves go into Game 3 as a road favorite (-5.5 points) to win and take back home advantage with a 2-1 series lead. The early prognosis is that Curry will likely have to miss Games 3 and 4 before having a chance to return.
