
For the second time this season, Kyle Kirkwood was the class of the NTT IndyCar Series field.
Despite a damaged front wing, Kirkwood took the race lead from Santino Ferrucci in the closing laps and drove away to win the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix.
Kirkwood, who also won on the streets of Long Beach, is the second winner through the first seven races of the 2025 IndyCar season. The victory is the fourth of his IndyCar career.
