LeBron James and Luka Doncic are one of the most talented duos in NBA history.
Despite being teammates for less than two months, the Los Angeles Lakers superstars have shown flashes of what they will be capable of in the 2025 NBA playoffs.
In a recent interview with The Pat McAfee Show, James made his feelings about Doncic very clear.
James: “His name is Luka Magic for a reason… He’s a very transcendent player… In order for us to reach our potential, he has to be that guy. He has to fit out. We’ll figure it out. Let us figure it out with you because we need you to be who you are.”
Doncic is averaging 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 41.6% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range in 21 games for the Lakers.
They have gone 13-8 in that span.

If the Lakers can stay healthy, they will be seen as a legitimate title contender in the Western Conference.
Right now, they are the fourth seed with a 45-29 record in 74 games.
Over their last ten games, the Lakers have gone 5-5.
