The Los Angeles Lakers top superstar duo of Luka Doncic and LeBron James are set to lead L.A. to a deep playoff run. They’ve done it before at different times with different teams, but now they’ll look to do so together.
The road to the Finals will not be easy in the West, but considering they are both playoff risers, they will have a legitimate shot at winning title No. 18 for the Lakers.
We’ll see how things play out, but there is no doubting their dominance in the regular season. Doncic and James both played stellarly throughout the season. Not only did they make waves with their game, but they also made waves in NBA jersey sales.
Doncic and James ranked in the top three in this year’s NBA jersey sales. James ranked No. 3, and Doncic ranked No. 1.
Luka Dončić is the NBA’s new top jersey-seller … and the first player not named Stephen Curry or LeBron James to sell the NBA’s most jerseys in a season since 2012-13 … and the first international player to lead the league.

Even at 40 years old, James is still a popular name among NBA watchers. He’s been at the top of his game for a long time, and there is no denying his popularity and legacy.
James’ resume speaks for itself; he is a 21-time All-Star, four-time NBA champion, four-time NBA MVP, 13-time All-NBA First Team, four-time AP Male Athlete of the Year, and a member of the 75th Anniversary team.
James’ resume is unlike any other player, so it comes as no surprise that even in season 22.
Doncic is one of the best players in the league and an international superstar. Couple that with being a Laker, and it is no surprise that he is No. 1 on the list.
Doncic was traded to the Lakers on February 1st in what is the most shocking and stunning trade of all time. The Lakers pulled off the impossible, and what some deemed the improbable, as no one knew the Mavericks had Doncic on the trading block.
Nonetheless, Doncic is a Laker, and the trade has done wonders for L.A., its title odds, and the NBA.
The Lakers will enter the playoffs with arguably two of the top 10 players in the league and two of the league’s most popular players.
