Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has the top-selling jersey in the NBA this season, becoming the first international player to do so, according to the NBA and the NBPA (National Basketball Players Association), which release the list of best sellers.
Dončić also breaks the long reign of LeBron James and Steph Curry at the top. No other NBA player has topped the list since the 2012-13 season when then-New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony led the league in jersey sales. Curry was No. 2 on the list this season and James was No. 3.

Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum and Knicks guard Jalen Brunson rounded out the top five. San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama was No. 6, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was No. 7, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant was No. 8, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was No. 9 and Denver Nuggets forward Nikola Jokić was No. 10.
Dončić had the eighth-highest selling jersey when the mid-season list was released in late January. He was traded to the Lakers in early February, which bolstered his jersey sales. His league-leading sales this season account for both Mavericks and Lakers jerseys sold.
The Lakers also had the league’s top-selling merchandise with the Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Knicks and Chicago Bulls rounding out the top five.
