NBA Best Bets Today – March 30th
Portland Trail Blazers at New York Knicks – 6:00 pm ET
The Knicks continue to be without Jalen Brunson, making it hard not to like the Blazers getting a significant amount of points tonight. Portland has some injuries to deal with, as Scoot Henderson, Jerami Grant, Deandre Ayton and Robert Williams III are all out. Anfernee Simons is also questionable. However, the Blazers should still have enough to keep this game tight, especially with the way Deni Avdija is playing. Between Avdija and Shaedon Sharpe, Portland should have enough offensively here. And this Blazers team has been rock-solid on the defensive end of the floor for most of the season. That said, with Portland still playing with the motivation of making the Western Conference Play-In Tournament, I can’t see the Blazers rolling into Madison Square Garden and getting pounded by a shorthanded Knicks team. After all, Portland is 15-11 straight-up and 18-8 against the spread against Eastern Conference opponents this year. New York is just 15-13 SU and 13-15 ATS versus Western Conference foes.
Bet: Blazers +8.5 (-120 – 1.5 units) & Blazers ML (+280 – 0.5 units)
NBA Player Props Today – March 30th
Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs – 7:00 pm ET
Draymond Green has cooled off a little over the last three games, but he’s still averaging 9.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in March. That’s good for 22.7 combined points, rebounds and assists per game. That said, Green can be trusted to go Over a total of 22.5 tonight, especially with this being an awesome matchup. With no Victor Wembanyama to bother Green with his length, the Warriors star should be able to really impact this game as a rebounder. I’d also be surprised if he doesn’t have some offensive success. San Antonio is just 25th in the NBA in adjusted defensive rating (116.0). This is an unorganized defense that Green should be able to pick apart with his off-the-charts court vision. Then, whatever Green adds a scorer is just gravy.
Bet: Green Over 22.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-106)
Additional Plays
This is where I’ll include any late added plays, teasers/parlays or in-season futures. Come back before tip if you don’t want to miss anything. It’s always possible I’ll add something to my card.
