It took 10 innings, but the Yankees secured their 21st victory of the season, with a 4-3 win over the Padres. For a Wednesday night game in the middle of the season, it was rather exciting. For a minute, Dylan Cease was throwing a no-hitter, while Max Fried continued his stellar start to the year. Jackson Merrill, Cody Bellinger and Trent Grisham all homered, and Devin Williams posted a clean inning.
