The Denver Nuggets blew consecutive fourth-quarter leads in Games 4 and 5 to fall in a 3-2 hole in their series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Much of that was due to their overdependence on Nikola Jokic and “the others” not stepping up.

With their season on the line, Denver rallied as a team and ensured they didn’t let Jokic down for a third consecutive game in Thursday’s 119-107 Game 6 win. As many as five Nuggets scored in double digits and shone in key moments, but three stood above all.

Jokic, Jamal Murray and Christian Braun combined for 77 points, 33 rebounds and 20 assists on 55% shooting, becoming the first trio since the Celtics’ John Havlicek, Sam Jones and Bill Russell in 1966 to each record at least 20/8/5 in a playoff game. They also became the first Nuggets trio to each record 20/5/5 in a playoff game since 1985.
