When will the NBA release the Detroit Pistons vs New York Knicks playoff schedule?
The NBA for the past few years has released the playoff schedule for all eight first-round series overnight after Tuesday’s play-in tournament games — the first night of three play-in dates as teams battle for the Nos. 7 and 8 seeds in each conference.
The 6-seed Pistons and 3-seed Knicks will play Game 1 next weekend, April 19 or 20, along with all the other first-round series. After that, the schedule and TV is up in the air.
The Pistons will also host a game the following weekend, April 26-27.

The Pistons are confident after winning three of four from the Knicks during the regular season, including rallying Thursday night in Detroit for a 115-106 victory against a Knicks team missing two starters.
