The Syracuse Orange had great success last offseason in the transfer portal. They landed former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord, who came to the program and only ended up leading the nation in passing yards with 4,779 yards.
McCord is now going to try his hand at the NFL while Syracuse head coach Fran Brown is looking for his next starting quarterback.
In that regard, the Orange made an interesting move via the transfer portal on Wednesday. Former Notre Dame quarterback Steve Angeli committed to the Orange after three seasons in West Bend.
