The Toronto Maple Leafs hoped this playoff run would be different. But facing yet another Game 7 and Brad Marchand on the opposite bench once again, the Leafs are once again heading home from the Stanley Cup Playoffs in embarrassing fashion.
After a 0-0 first period, the Florida Panthers scored three goals in just over six minutes in the second and never looked back, winning the game 6-1 capped off with an empty-netter from their long-time nemesis Brad Marchand.
