This slate has a double digit spread in 8/9 games. Instead of going with a full game bet, I feel much safer just targeting the 1Q. This Hornets/Pacers game has a spread of 14.5 favoring Indiana. Nurkic just needs to get us one bucket here. Mark Williams should play his usual 8 minutes or so which gives us the 4 minutes we need for Jusuf to make a shot. As a Hornet we have seen him do this in 13/20 games which is good for a 65% hit rate. Indiana has Myles Turner as questionable which could matter, but more than likely shouldn’t. The primary matchup will likely be Thomas Bryant who is 40 pounds lighter and 2 inches shorter than Nurk. I like our chances for some bully ball early as he enters the game and for him to cash us on an otherwise ugly slate. Lets roll!
