Green was ordered to pay $50,000, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported.

The fine was for comments questioning the integrity of game officials.

The incident in question came during Game 3 of the series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Minnesota won 102-97 to move 2-1 ahead in the Western Conference series.

Golden State trailed by eight points with 15 seconds remaining.

Green had already fouled out of the contest with more than four minutes to play.

He was heard apparently saying to an official, “five and a half, I know what y’all doing.”

The comments were seemingly in reference to the game spread, which was set at 5.5 points.

Jonathan Kuminga hit a late three-pointer to cut Minnesota’s lead to five points.

The basket had no impact on the outcome on the game.

But gamblers who backed either the Warriors or Timberwolves on the 5.5-point spread were impacted.

And the NBA came down hard on Green for his comments which were allegedly about the spread.

The 35-year-old is a four-time NBA champion and a key part of the Golden State Warriors dynasty.

He has been voted to the All-Star Game four times and was defensive player of the year in 2017.

But he has often found himself in trouble with the league during his distinguished career.
