The Conference Finals round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs is well underway now, with two teams making desperation comebacks to send series to 2-1, extending the exciting matchups for at least another game, if not farther. The third stage of the bracket has been as exciting as the other two in a playoffs that is generally pretty healthy. Potential NBA Finals matchups look good in the basketball sense, though not quite in marquee value. The 2024-25 regular season wasn’t bad either. Overall, it seems like the league is doing pretty well.

At the same time, ratings have been down this year. And no season is without complaints. From officiating to three-point shooting, fans have grumbled from October until now, as is their right.

So we want to ask you today, as the culmination of the season approaches, what one gripe do you think is the most valid? If you could change one thing about the NBA, what would it be?

You can pick rule changes, general trends, systems and procedures, long-standing customs…anything you want. The field is wide open! Just narrow it down to one (1) thing that you’d like to see changed and share that with us in the comment section below. Be sure to peruse the suggestions of fellow readers as well and comment on each other’s thoughts. Who knows? Maybe between us we’ll come up with something that changes the league for the better, or at least throw our voices in the mix.
