The NBA Draft Lottery is behind us, meaning we’re roughly six weeks away from the 2025 NBA Draft. Will we hear a Kentucky player’s name called once the two-round draft hits in late June? We’re trending in that direction as the NBA Draft Combine continues in Chicago through Sunday.
After the Dallas Mavericks shockingly (and undeservedly) won the right to draft Cooper Flagg with the number one overall pick on Monday night, a slew of fresh NBA Mock Drafts have been released since. To little surprise, super senior guard Koby Brea is mentioned the most out of any Wildcat.
The sharpshooting guard is listed as a second-round pick in nearly every major mock draft available. Some have him as high as the early second round, while others have him at the back end of the draft. Either way, his stock as a draft hopeful is in a good spot ahead of Wednesday’s 5-on-5 scrimmages at the Combine.
As for Otega Oweh, who still has a year of college eligibility remaining and would be a Preseason SEC Player of the Year favorite were he to return to Kentucky, his name is hard to find in any mocks. No Ceilings is the only source projecting Oweh, who has until May 28 to stay in the draft pool or not, to get selected. We actually see Amari Williams‘ name brought up a few more times than Oweh. Jaxson Robinson and Andrew Carr were also mentioned as late-second-round picks by NBADraft.net.
Below, you can find all of the major mock drafts that were updated since Monday night with mentions of a Kentucky player. Other prominent outlets such as CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, and The Ringer only released first-round projections. The 2025 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25-26 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
